Cisco, Google, GoPro, and Illumina will be speaking at the third annual, student-organized Rady [X] technology conference, hosted by The Rady Technology Club.
This year’s event theme is The Future of Product Innovation, focusing on how successful companies utilize technology to create new and better products and services.
“We’re excited to get a rare glimpse into the product innovation conversations that happen within the walls of these well-respected companies,” said Jasmine Rezai, Board Member of The Rady Technology Club and second year MBA student.
The conference will run from 1 to 7 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 28 at the Rady School of Management.
The afternoon will consist of keynote presentations, a product fair featuring local businesses and start-ups, industry panel discussions, Q&A sessions, and a catered networking mixer.
Product innovation is embedded in many disciplines. It is not just an exciting topic within the technology world or the San Diego business community, but it embodies our student population and is part of the Rady School of Management’s core principles with the school’s mission.
Last year’s event brought more than 200 attendees to campus.  Attendees have the opportunity to network with industry leaders from powerhouse companies and with members of the Rady School community, UC San Diego community, neighboring schools and local business professionals.
Event planning and execution can be attributed to the hard work of students in the Rady Technology Club, Rady Operations Club, Rady Life Sciences Club, Rady Marketing Club and IdeaConnect. A combination of their efforts along with the speakers’ willingness to share their expertise to an audience of curious minds and the behind-the-scenes work of Rady School staff have kept the annual Rady [X] tradition alive.
All are welcome to attend. To purchase tickets, visit the Rady [X] website.
